We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Client Management to join our American Express team, working remotely to oversee a portfolio of merchant relationships across Southern California. As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, establishing mutually beneficial relationships with merchant accounts, and delivering innovative solutions to our clients.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of 5 Senior Client Managers to manage and deepen relationships with 400+ respected brands, driving revenue growth and improving share.
  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate a culture of learning, coaching, and consultative relationship management.
  • Partner with internal colleagues to develop partnership and marketing assets that drive business results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest payment trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape to inform business decisions.
  • Model key sales behaviors and skills, balancing deal and skill coaching to drive team performance.
  • Focus on increasing Merchant Satisfaction and maximizing profits with an enterprise approach.
