Remote QA Test Manager - American Express

We're seeking a highly skilled QA Test Manager to join our global fraud-fighting team at Accertify, a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Express. As a QA Test Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and improving our suite of manual and automated tests, driving quality improvements to our industry-leading applications.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a talented QA Test Manager to work closely with our software developers, QA testers, and product owners to define our testing suite and refine our testing strategies. You will manage relationships with external QA vendors, collaborate with our QA contractors, Lead Engineers, Delivery Managers, and the Head of Software Development to test our product offerings. Your expertise will help us maintain our QA environments, improve our CI/CD pipeline, and identify opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine testing strategies
• Manage relationships with external QA vendors and contractors
• Develop test plans, testing resource requirements, and scheduling of testing activities
• Participate in agile meetings and planning sessions
• Analyze metrics and program reporting for quality improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 4+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA
• Proven ability to write test cases, run functional, automated, or performance tests, and manage defects
• Experience with defining and driving QA processes and procedures across multiple applications
• Strong knowledge of test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, program compatibility testing, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Integration technologies
