We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Part-Time Higher Elementary Remote Math Teacher to work with our students from 2nd to 5th grade. As a teacher at Think Academy US, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive math lessons, preparing classes based on our curriculum, and providing personalized feedback to students.

Responsibilities

• Teach higher elementary mathematics virtually through our teaching platform
• Prepare and deliver lessons using our curriculum and teaching guidance
• Grade homework and provide essential teaching-related services
• Communicate effectively with students and parents, offering timely and personalized feedback
• Work 20-40 hours per week, primarily during weekends or weekday afternoons

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above (all majors welcome, with a preference for education or STEM-related majors)
• Prior math teaching experience is not required, but a plus
• Elementary math competition learning or teaching experience is a plus
• Commitment to at least two semesters of teaching starting from 2024 Fall Semester
• Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends
• Passion for teaching and education, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Structure

• Teaching Fee: $30/hour (3-7 classes per week)
• Non-Teaching Fee: $15-20/hour (includes class preparation and after-class services)
• Weekly Salary Estimates: $750 (less than 30 hours), $800-$900 (more than 30 hours)
• Student Retention Bonus: targeted at 15% of total teaching fee for long-term classes
