Job Summary:

We're looking for a talented and customer-focused individual to join our American Airlines team as a Remote Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. This is a remote-based position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while being part of a dynamic and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a consistently positive experience for our customers at all touchpoints
  • Perform various airport-related tasks, including check-in, gates, transfer, arrival, baggage services, and ticketing (ATAC)
  • Work closely with team leaders, taking instructions and guidance to ensure seamless operations
  • Conduct administrative tasks, such as ATAC, pre-flight, and post-flight departure
  • Represent American Airlines, adhering to uniform standards and adopting a customer-centric approach at all times
  • Promote and sell American Airlines' products and services to our customers
  • Attend and complete all required training by given deadlines
  • Adhere to and promote safe working practices at all times
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required by the role

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • A solution-oriented approach, with the ability to resolve conflicts professionally and efficiently
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer focus, with experience in face-to-face customer interactions
  • Ability to represent American Airlines at all times, maintaining a professional and well-groomed appearance
  • Flexibility to work in a shift environment, including weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays
  • Reliability, punctuality, and adherence to all American Airlines' policies and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid BAA airside pass, GSAT training, and willingness to complete all required training
  • Valid DVLA driving license, with the willingness to apply for a BAA driving license as required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in an airport or aviation environment
