About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and motivated D23 Content and Editorial Intern to join our innovative team! As a key member of the D23 team, you will have the opportunity to build and share captivating stories, news, and events with Disney fans worldwide through D23.com, social media channels, and the quarterly Disney twenty-three publication.

Responsibilities:

• Craft engaging copy for social media postings on Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok
• Serve as a reporter, social media poster, or support staff at various D23 and company events
• Pitch and write original stories, quizzes, and content for D23 media outlets
• Conduct interviews with talent and creative team members for upcoming projects
• Proofread and edit copy for D23.com, D23 emails, and Disney twenty-three publication
• Support cross-promotional opportunities with internal Disney partners

Requirements:

• Sophisticated knowledge of social platforms and standard processes
• Genuine curiosity about The Walt Disney Company history and culture
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
• Validated skills in editorial research, reporting, and writing
• Experience interviewing talent, creatives, and other subjects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on website and print publication content
• Knowledge of AP style and experience writing in a specific voice/tone
• Photography skills

Eligibility Requirements:

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university or recent graduate
• Major or previous coursework in writing, communications, journalism, or related field
• At least 18 years of age
• Unrestricted work authorization
