We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Substitute Teacher to join our team in Bennett, CO. What You'll Do:

• Follow and teach lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
• Instruct based on subject and grade-specific curriculum
• Monitor and assess student achievements and outcomes
• Exercise classroom and behavior management skills
• Share your specialized knowledge to coach staff and support special education students

What You'll Need:

• Active Teaching license with a special education generalist (5-21) and/or special education specialist (5-21) endorsement(s)
• Substitute Authorization (must have or be in the process of obtaining if license is expired)
• Three References with one by a previous direct supervisor
• Complete a Background Check for Scoot Education (you'll be reimbursed for the cost on your first paycheck)
• Complete a Background Check for the Colorado Department of Education (to receive your Substitute Authorization; you will not be reimbursed for the cost)
