We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Sylvan Learning of Western Carolinas and Midlands of SC. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students in a small group setting (3:1 or 4:1) using our expert personal and prescriptive approach
• Utilize paid training and certifications from Sylvan to teach various subjects, including reading, math, writing, study skills, and ACT/SAT Test Prep
• Build mastery of skills and confidence in students, experiencing daily "light bulb" moments
• Collaborate with our team to provide a supportive and relational learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education and a current or expired teaching license from any state
• Passion for teaching and patience with students of all skill levels
• High mastery of knowledge at multiple levels and ability to make complex concepts relatable
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Availability after school at least one day a week and/or Saturday mornings, with additional hours available during the day and summer
