About the Role: As a Lead Product Researcher, you'll be responsible for leading research projects, providing expert guidance, and driving the product development process to ensure that our experiences align with user needs, business objectives, and technological feasibility. Your work will have a direct impact on Target's digital touchpoints, including web, mobile web, and native applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead research projects, recommending methodology, scoping, and coordinating the entire process
• Conduct and synthesize qualitative research projects, including in-person moderated testing, remote moderated & unmoderated testing, surveys, and more
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior researchers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive user-centric outcomes
• Advance a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams

About You: To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 7+ years of experience as a product researcher with a strong portfolio
• A degree in Anthropology, Social Science, Design Research, Psychology, Human Factors, HCI, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong ability to tell compelling stories from data
• Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
