About the Role: As a Legal Content Editor, you will play a vital part in our ROI Strategy department, supporting the Client Services team. Your expertise in writing, editing, and legal knowledge will enable you to create engaging, informative, and optimized content that drives business results. While a law degree and license are preferred, they are not mandatory. Your ability to work collaboratively, think critically, and adapt to changing priorities will be essential in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of a positive, productive company culture, upholding our core values and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Research, draft, and edit high-quality content, including static pages and blog posts, that resonates with our audience and drives conversions.
  • Assign tasks to contractors, ensuring clear communication and effective project management.
  • Review, edit, and proofread content prepared by contractors, providing constructive feedback to enhance quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with the Client Services team to discuss content plans, provide status updates, and offer strategic feedback on content proposals.
  • Manage your workload efficiently, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our content and services.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise, contributing to the growth and success of our team.
  • Ensure that all content adheres to ethical and local bar standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in content writing and editing, preferably in a legal or online marketing context.
  • Extensive knowledge of legal issues, including personal injury, family law, criminal defense, workers' compensation, Social Security disability, employment law, and bankruptcy.
  • Law degree and law license preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
