Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver effective lessons using classical traditional methods of instruction
- Assess student progress and provide academic interventions as needed
- Maintain a safe, attractive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in required faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops
Requirements:
- Texas State Teacher's Certification as Elementary Generalist or Elementary Self-Contained Teacher
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Passing score on an ExCET/TExES Exam in grade level or content area to be taught
- Experience in classical education or traditional teaching methods (preferred)
