Title I Tutor (Limited Full-Time) - Remote Opportunity with Idaho Falls School District 91

About the Role:

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced educator to provide targeted support to Title I students, helping them bridge the gap in reading and math skills. As a Title I Tutor, you'll work closely with classroom teachers, Building Administrators, and other stakeholders to identify student needs, develop instructional plans, and track progress.

Responsibilities:

• Administer reading and math tests to identify student achievement levels
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to determine instructional needs and develop plans
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction in reading and math
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress
• Assist with data collection and reporting for state and federal agencies
• Participate in professional development, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences

Requirements:

• Minimum of 32 core college credits or a minimum score of 460 on the ParaPro Praxis
• Knowledge and skills in teaching math and reading, including phonetic pronunciation
• Ability to administer standardized tests and work with students, staff, and the public
• Computer skills, including word processing, email, and spreadsheets
• Previous experience preferred, but not required
