Virtual Math Tutor (Middle School) - Remote Opportunity

Join Littera Education as a Virtual Math Tutor and Make a Difference in the Lives of Middle School Students!

Littera Education is seeking highly motivated and experienced virtual math tutors to join our team for the upcoming Fall programs. As a Virtual Math Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students in grades 6, 7, or 8 who are working with upper elementary and early middle school math content. If you are passionate about math and enjoy supporting students in developing their understanding of math concepts, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Indicate your availability to tutor and select specific time slots (no minimum or maximum requirements)
• Complete curriculum reviews for lesson materials
• Tutor students virtually in a 1:1 to 1:3 setting
• Build relationships with students located across the United States
• Review and provide feedback on lesson content materials

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with school-age learners
• Relatively consistent ongoing calendar availability to support a session series
• Ability to effectively instruct and engage students with clear communication and interpersonal skills
• High comfort level with online virtual tools and technology
• Desktop or laptop with Chrome browser, video camera, and reliable internet connection
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but college students with 1+ years of relevant experience are welcome to apply
