Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Assistant Faculty in Business - Online to support our online undergraduate level Business class for the upcoming Fall quarter starting October 2, 2023. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Business or a related discipline, 5 years of professional experience in Business, and previous online teaching experience with adult learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze student activity and provide appropriate responses to drive engagement and learning
• Utilize the online learning platform (Canvas) to communicate with students and support instructional faculty
• Assist with grading, monitoring engagement levels, and providing recommendations to increase student participation
• Escalate unique issues to the master instructor and adhere to university policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned to support the instructional team and drive student success

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• 5 years of professional experience in Business
• Previous online teaching experience with adult learners
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and ability to lead group discussions
• Proficiency in using Canvas LMS highly preferred
