About the Role:

As a Network Security Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring, monitoring, and managing the performance of networks to maintain the quality of services, while also protecting organizational infrastructure from malicious cyber-attacks. You will assess, predict, prevent, and manage the risk of IT infrastructure and data, helping our customers stay ahead of the curve and ensure their systems are secure. You will develop and implement security policies and procedures, working closely with other departments to ensure that all security measures are in place and operating effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, monitor, and manage network performance to maintain quality of services and protect against cyber-attacks
• Assess, predict, prevent, and manage IT infrastructure and data risk
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective security measures
• Provide technical security training on best practices

Requirements:

• 8-12 years of overall experience in networking
• Network security expert with deep subject matter expertise in various technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with network security products, including Palo Alto Firewalls, ZScaler Cloud Proxies, and F5 server load balancing and security technology
• Excellent understanding of network security architecture, design, and support
• Proven Service Management (ITIL) experience, specifically incident, problem, and change management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a DevOps role and familiar with SDN, NFV, Cloud, and Cloud Management Platforms
• Knowledge of supporting ECN Connectivity, monitoring and analysis tools, DNS & DHCP (IPAM), and UNIX/Linux and scripting
• Experience with automation concepts, data center design, and audit functions
