Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced tutor to provide one-on-one instruction to a 4th-grade student in English Language Arts and Math. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. As a tutor with our organization, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, providing feedback and support to the student, and working collaboratively with our team to ensure the student's success.

Responsibilities:

• Get to know the student and employ creative ways to teach and engage them in English Language Arts and Math
• Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to meet the student's unique needs and learning style
• Provide feedback and support to the student to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals
• Use our proprietary tutoring platform to plan and deliver lessons, as well as track student progress and communicate with parents
• Collaborate with our team to ensure the student's success and provide excellent customer service to families

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, with a focus on English Language Arts and Math
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching, with a preference for specialized education fields
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong administrative skills, including the ability to prepare lesson plans, track student progress, and communicate with families
• Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and access to a computer, internet, and smartphone
