We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESSA - Special Programs Instructional Assistant to join our team at Salem-Keizer Public Schools. As an Instructional Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of our students, working closely with licensed teachers to plan and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and other educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed teachers in planning and implementing educational programs, including IEPs
• Support students in both general and special education settings
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement strategies to improve student achievement
• Work with students to provide individualized support and guidance

Requirements:

• ESSA documentation required (see below for details)
• Ability to work 7.5 hours per day, 187 days per year
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What is ESSA?
