Part-Time Homebound Instructor (Remote) - Make a Difference in Students' Lives

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Homebound Instructor to provide educational support to students who require homebound services. As a Homebound Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and succeed in their educational journey. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 5 hours per week of educational assistance to students in a home setting, utilizing hard copies and/or online formats
• Follow lesson plans and instructions given by current teachers to ensure continuity of education
• Reinforce concepts and skills, monitor student progress, and assist with planning for students with 504/IEPs
• Adapt instructional programs to fit individual student needs, using a variety of instructional aids and equipment
• Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success and compliance with IEPs and other student management systems

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 36 hours of college credit
• Missouri substitute certificate
• Positive human relation skills and ability to work well with diverse individuals
• Preferred: Previous teaching experience or experience in education, with a professional and friendly demeanor
