At Music Kids LLC, we're passionate about providing instrumental education programs to students across six states and the District of Columbia. We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teachers to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year, teaching beginning level violin, piano, and guitar. About the Role

• Teach small group classes in one or more of our partner schools, with paid time for managing student records, providing updates to parents, and supporting students virtually
• Commit to a 10-month academic year, with opportunities to extend employment for the additional 2 summer months
• Must have scheduling availability on several weekdays during in-school hours (9am-3pm) and/or afterschool hours (3pm-6pm)
• Annual salary ranges from $45,760 - $68,640, with additional benefits available for employees working 20+ hours, including PTO, retirement, and medical

Responsibilities

• Teach and manage student performances in-school
• Communicate with parents, plan lessons, schedule, and report progress out-of-school
• Promote the program and drive enrollment at partner school events
• Participate in professional development opportunities through collaboration with senior resident Faculty Members and staff

The Ideal Candidate

• Has at least 1-2 years of teaching experience, either in music classes or a traditional classroom setting
• Is able or willing to teach more than one instrument at a beginning level, or ideally all three (curricular resources and assistance available)
• Has a strong interest in working with a wide range of student age groups, especially beginning level students (including 3-5 y/o)
• Is passionate about having a direct impact on the primary education system
• Is comfortable teaching students in small groups of 3-4 students
• Has the ability to be flexible and creative in teaching style, with an open mind and initiative to work independently
