We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to support our Network Systems & Engineering Technology department at our Lakeland campus. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing technical assistance, maintaining lab environments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain physical and virtual lab environments as requested by faculty
• Provide technical assistance to students working on assignments and projects
• Aid in creating network scenarios and simulating real-world situations to support student learning
• Assist the Network Manager with resource allocation, scheduling, and ensuring fair access to lab facilities
• Provide tutoring assistance as needed and maintain effective communication with students, faculty, and staff

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: at least one year of clerical experience
• Excellent organizational, communication, and human relations skills
• Ability to work well with others, maintain confidentiality, and establish effective rapport with faculty, students, and staff
• Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
