We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our User Clients team, where you'll play a key role in defining, building, and shaping the future of Airbnb's user-related product flows. As a senior engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality products, build efficient and reusable web components, and drive web best practices.

About the Role:

• Design and deliver high-quality products on web, collaborating with Product Managers, Experience Designers, and Engineers
• Build efficient and reusable web components, architecting reliable, performant, and scalable solutions
• Identify areas of improvement and drive web best practices, mentoring and guiding individual contributors
• Work closely with Android and iOS engineers to develop foundational, cross-platform solutions

Your Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications at scale with a high volume of users
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining high-performance and scalable web frontend experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React, GraphQL)
• Fluency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Strong product sense and passion for UX product development
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Management, Design, and other engineers
