Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (Remote Opportunity)

As a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend, you will be part of a fast-paced team that values creativity, innovation, and collaboration. You will leverage your expertise to resolve complex issues, drive success, and grow into a leadership role within our organization. This is a contract position with the opportunity to be hired as a full-time employee after 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform project analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature, requiring extensive research and analysis
• Make design and technical decisions for applications, ensuring high performance and scalability
• Work in an agile development environment, ensuring process and policy compliance with organizational guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs
• Support code deployments and configuration changes to production and non-production systems, following established procedures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, implementing modern and successful solutions
• Mentor software engineers, providing coaching and educational opportunities to help them grow
• Participate in technology trainings and certifications to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• US citizenship or Green Card holder
• Ability to work in PDT hours, with a preferred location on the West Coast (but open to other locations with flexibility to work in PDT hours)
• 5+ years of experience with languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Experience with React, Svelte, and/or Angular, or willingness to learn React and Svelte
• Familiarity with AI technologies (OpenAI, Vertex AI, Bedrock) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
• Experience with test-driven development and writing automated unit tests
• Demonstrated experience delivering product features and strong understanding of software design and architecture
• Familiarity with the HTTP/HTTP2 protocol and the Software Development Life Cycle
