Software Engineer - Customer360 Team

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our Customer360 team, where you'll play a key role in developing and implementing a Salesforce application that provides a 360-degree view of our customers and their interactions with Southwest Airlines.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply programming skills and knowledge to solve a range of problems and deliver high-quality software solutions
• Collaborate with other engineers to raise technology and consistently apply best practices
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate project status and proposals
• Document all aspects of a system or application for future updates and maintenance
• Determine and evaluate customer needs and develop software to meet those requirements
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during design, testing, and maintenance processes using problem-solving skills
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software and continuously improve technical capabilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Intermediate knowledge of software development processes, practices, concepts, and technologies
• Proficiency in at least one required programming language
• Experience with Salesforce development, including Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and Service Cloud
• Experience with API integration, Java programming, JavaScript, JSON, and DevOps tools such as GIT and SalesforceDX
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and manage complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide others and present ideas and strategies to different audiences
