We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division, you'll play a vital role in promoting and selling air travel on American Airlines, while providing exceptional customer service and support.

Job Summary:

• Promote and sell air travel on American Airlines to government and corporate clients
• Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve problems in a mutually beneficial manner
• Communicate with customers over the phone to research passenger complaints and advise on cancelled or delayed flights
• Stay up-to-date on new rules, policies, and procedures that affect customers and communicate them effectively

Requirements for Success:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
• Knowledge of Native SABRE and ability to demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity in problem resolution
• High level of initiative, good judgment, and dependability
• Satisfactory attendance required
