The Crown Is Yours As the Content Manager for DraftKings Network, you’ll play a key role in shaping our voice and presence across the platform. Youll be at the forefront of content strategy, producing and curating compelling stories that range from game previews and player insights to the intersection of sports and pop culture. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll be working closely with a talented team of writers, editors, designers, and social media strategists to ensure consistency and creativity across all DraftKings media channels. You’ll have the opportunity to influence long-term content direction, contribute to major campaigns, and help grow the brand’s reach and resonance with fans. What you’ll do as a Content Manager

  • Manage a team of full-time and freelance content creators to help scale a newsletter, social media channels, and AI-generated content, ensuring brand consistency, timely delivery and audience relevance.
  • Lead the weekly editorial newsroom discussion and ensure all contributors across the organization are collaborating, showcasing projects and providing updates on traffic and audience engagement.
  • Verify all content is SEO-driven and interconnected across platforms to maximize visibility and discoverability.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics across web, social media, and email to identify content trends and user behaviors that inform strategy.
  • Report regularly on content performance, SEO outcomes, social engagement, and newsletter metrics to support business and editorial decisions.
  • Use data insights to continuously refine content strategy and contribute to the overall growth of DraftKings’ media presence.
  • Assist senior leadership with contract negotiations, budgets, roadmap implementation, staffing.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in media, SEO, content strategy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience creating and optimizing content for newsletters and social platforms, with a focus on engagement, reach, and brand voice consistency.
  • Ability to perform keyword research, channel/content analyses, and channel optimization.
  • Passion for data with a strong ability to translate performance insights into actionable content and distribution strategies.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO elements and optimization.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage a team with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience as a manager of a small team preferred.
  • Solution-oriented and analytically curious with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 110,400.00 USD - 138,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
