SAP Cloud Architect Duration: 12+ months Location: Remote Rate/Hr on c2c (All Inc) Description: The Cloud Solutions Architect plays a key role to build highly resilient and innovative cloud-based hosting solutions that comply with best practice DevSecOps and with an automation first mindset. Collaborate with business and technology colleagues to identify and demonstrate the value and benefits of cloud solutions and automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
- Extensive working knowledge of Cloud technologies in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
- Excellent communication skills verbal & written in English. To be able to communicate with IT teams and departments, end users and customers
- Broad experience in developing associated business cases and plans which are detailed, actionable and aligned with industry best practices
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting career & knowledge development for engineers early in their career
- Work as a member of cross-functional teams to design scalable, highly available, secure application solutions that leverage cloud services and 3rd party SAAS integration
- Ability to support project team to prioritize activities and provide deliverables as planned

- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Azure and/or AWS
- Industry vendor certifications are desired (e.g. AWS, Azure or CNCF/Kubernetes certifications); although not essential if you have demonstrable ability
- Experience designing, building, documenting, and maintaining solutions in AWS or Azure
- Experience with highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
- Excellent knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps / GitLab
- Strong background in Linux/UNIX administration (e.g. RedHat/CentOS 7/Alpine Linux)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools like Github, Terraform, Jenkins and Ansible
- Experience with Enterprise SAP deployments
- Familiar with containers (AKS, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker etc.)
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (bash, Powershell, Python)
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring and alerting services and capabilities.
- Knowledge in Defense Contracting and/or Aerospace industry.
- Security and Compliance standards (such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP, ISO/IEC 27001, SOX, PCI DSS)
- Familiarity with Suse 15.x, Windows Server 2019/2022 Redhat 8.x/9.x, including authentication and access control, image management, patching, STIG hardening & group policy, clustering, IIS/Apache, and other core services.
