Packaging Designer

Job Title: Packaging Designer Location: Remote Work Shift: PST preferred for meetings (7am–2pm) Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, flexible within 7 AM–2 PM PST

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Designer with proven experience in CPG packaging design to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for the concept, layout, and execution of packaging for physical products—ensuring all designs are aligned with brand identity and optimized for both shelf impact and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and brand-consistent packaging designs for a wide range of physical products.
• Create dielines and production-ready files using professional design software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Development, and Production.
• Translate brand guidelines into compelling packaging solutions across product lines.
• Ensure design accuracy, consistency, and quality through all stages of development.
• Stay current on packaging trends, materials, and compliance standards, especially within the health & beauty industry.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in packaging design within the CPG sector; health & beauty industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of packaging layout, dielines, and production specifications.
• Highly detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong portfolio showcasing packaging and brand-aligned CPG work.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and practices.
• Experience working with printers and manufacturers.
• Familiarity with 3D rendering software for packaging visualization.
