What’s the opportunity?As our Regulatory Compliance Officer based in Brazil, you will support all Regulatory matters related to dLocal’s business and operations and will help maintain oversight for dLocal’s legal entities. In this role, you will help enable business growth while serving as a gatekeeper to prevent regulatory, legal, and reputational harm.
What will you be doing?
- Ensuring compliance of Dlocal's operations with laws and regulations.
- Collaborating across all teams to ensure proper communication with regulators and maintaining relations with authorities exercising supervision over company operations.
- Supporting various regulatory and statutory audits.
- Maintaining a compliance calendar, and ensuring legal and regulatory returns are submitted when due.
- Help maintain and oversee good, overall internal governance.
What skills do you need?
- Bachelor of Law or a similar field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Solid experience as a Regulatory Officer, Legal Advisor, or similar position.
- Experience with Brazilian regulations (Bacen).
- Fluent in English.
- Experience gained in an international company, financial institution, e-commerce, or law firm is a plus.
