Summary

The CPM Express Development Design Director within the Solution Network is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the functional solution design and development process of unchartered industries. This role will support the development of industry-specific Express solutions with clients and partners by applying findings into actionable improvements for implementation strategies and workflows. This role will also be responsible for the Express solution design and implementation guidelines.

This role involves collaborating across the OneStream ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to comprehend complex business and technical requirements, and a proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality solutions.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the design and development of new industry-specific Express solutions:
  • Examples may include, but are not limited to: Higher Education, Insurance and Banking, State and Local Governments, etc.
  • Supporting activities may include:
    • Engaging customers to develop solution requirements
    • Working with Solution Network to determine development requirements and feasibility analysis, which may include metadata/rule build, report build, etc.,
    • Testing and pilot of new solutions and features
  • Responsible for translating implementation learnings into Express Solution Guidelines
  • Serve as primary liaison to Solution Network Development team
  • Create material updates and upgrades to Express Solutions
    • Hold regular meetings with Product Support and Solution Network Development teams to understand customer and delivery team feedback
    • Evaluate feedback for materiality to translate findings into significant design/process improvements
  • Participate in OneStream events to highlight current and new Express Solutions, such as:
    • Splash and WAVE Summit, as appropriate
    • Other ad-hoc or regional events

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Development, or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in CPM or ERP software implementations or development.
• 5+ years of experience leading a team.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Financial Consolidations, including experience with the OneStream Financial Starter Kit (FSK).
• Demonstrated experience with MS Office, including MS Project.
• Exhibits critical thinking and an analytical background.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Fluent in German.
• Master’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology.
• SQL and object-oriented (VB.Net, C#) coding experience.
• Prior experience with any of the following products:

• OneStream
• SAP Outlooksoft BPC
• SAP BOFC (Cartesis)
• HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
• FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStream
• Hyperion Planning
• Hyperion Essbase
• IBM Cognos
• Or other EPM solutions

Travel Requirements

• Occasional travel is required for this role but is expected not to exceed 25%.
