Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and data access layers using Python as the primary language. The ideal candidate will have experience with GraphQL, cloud platforms (preferably GCP, but AWS experience is acceptable), and database systems like MySQL. Expertise in scalability and deploying applications on AWS Elastic Beanstalk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance back-end APIs using Python.

• Design and optimize data access layers for efficiency and scalability.

• Work with GraphQL for flexible and efficient API querying.

• Deploy and manage applications on GCP (preferred) or AWS (Elastic Beanstalk).

• Integrate and manage MySQL databases, ensuring performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver seamless integrations.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize back-end systems for scalability and reliability.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Python.

• Experience designing and building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable).

• Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.

• Understanding of scalability best practices in API and data layer design.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
