Supply Chain Analyst

We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to provide support, conduct data analysis and help to improve our supply chain and procurement operations. Ultimately helping us to reduce cost and supply risk to the various Tekni-Plex business units.

For this role, you should have an analytical mind, and a strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. If you also have experience in international supply chain processes, trade compliance, logistics, or import and export operations we’d like to meet you.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support for international trade compliance including:
    • Manage free trade certification, supplier and customer
    • Updating supplier databases
    • Import and Export classification databases
    • U.S. Customs duties ACH support
  • Audit Customs databases against shipping documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions) for compliance accuracy.
  • Support roll-out of International Trade Compliance manual
  • Review weekly Freight Pay and Audit processes function
  • Support logistics functions as needed
  • Various monthly supply chain report creation
  • Analyze data to identify and recommend areas for improvement
  • Support supply chain optimization projects
  • Evaluate total landed cost scenarios
  • Evaluate supplier operations according to metrics
  • Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
  • Collaborate with IT to implement effective systems

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Supply Chain Management or International Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supply chain, international logistics, quality or operations role preferred
  • Familiarity with international trade compliance processes (e.g. International documentation, CTPAT, USMCA, bonded warehouse administration, incoterms)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Analytical approach with business acumen
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational ability
  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required
