Project Management Intern
The Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our Strategic Programs team. This internship provides hands-on experience in the planning and coordination of educational programs and industry initiatives across departments. - Collaborate across departments to ensure timely updates to speaker rosters, program agendas, and event deliverables.
- Manage administrative functions such as database entry, content tracking, and report generation.
- Help maintain and improve the speaker database in NetForum, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Contribute to project management efforts by updating trackers, assisting with task coordination, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Support other duties and special projects as assigned, including industry engagement and cross-functional tasks aligned with strategic priorities.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) or equivalent experience in event coordination, educational programming, communications, or project support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred but not required:
- Exposure to technical, scientific, or policy-focused content, with ability to quickly learn and communicate complex topics.
- Familiarity with event or project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Salesforce, etc.).
- Experience with associations, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations is a plus..
