- Hourly rate: $25
- Approximately 30 hours per week (estimated 16 weeks total), with the potential to transition into a full-time position
- Remote work available in California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin
- Estimated Start Date: September 1st - 15th
The Jackbox Games Marketing Team is bursting with opportunities and challenges as more people than ever are discovering our games! We are looking for an experienced Marketing Art Contractor who can work hand-in-hand with our marketing team members to create visual assets and video content that inspires more people to play our games.
- Work closely with the team to improve engagement on social media channels
- Improve click-through rates on advertising
- Develop commercials and trailers for existing and upcoming titles
- Collaborate with game teams to develop compelling gameplay showcases
- Refresh ad creative when it is getting stale
The art in our games has inspired a community of fan artists and attachment to our characters. We utilize a lot of live action video of people enjoying our games in advertisements to quickly convey the environments our games exist within. This person will report to the Director of Marketing and run creative concepts by the Chief Creative Officer for feedback.
Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of relevant experience. New grads need not apply.
- A strong ability to prioritize varied workloads with long and short-term deadlines
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with producing and editing video content (bonus: experience making trailers or commercial content)
- Experience with creating static and video advertisements
- Strong illustration, graphic design, and motion graphic skills
- A great eye for color and composition
- An interest in creating meme-style art for social media channels
- The ability to take creative guidelines and character art from the games and mimic or replicate it in marketing content
- A team player mindset
- A roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
- Commitment to working collaboratively in a friendly atmosphere
