We are looking for a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of talented engineers. This role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, people development, and hands-on management to ensure successful project delivery and team development.

YOU WILL

  • Team Leadership and People Management:
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performing engineering team.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and technical excellence.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide feedback, address concerns, and set individual career goals.
  • Drive team development through coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities.
  • Facilitate open communication to ensure team alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Recognize and reward individual and team achievements to build morale and motivation.
  • Technical Oversight:
  • Drive the technical vision and ensure best practices are followed across the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements and project scopes.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Establish clear metrics for team productivity and project success.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and roadblocks.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on priorities and expectations.
  • Advocate for the engineering team’s needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise in JavaProven track record of delivering complex software projects in an agile environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with team-building, mentorship, and career development.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with strong business acumen.
  • A PLUS TO HAVE

  • Experience in the Tech industry especially Data analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
