Responsibilities

• Design and build new features end-to-end—from intuitive front-end UIs to scalable backend services.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and users to define, prototype, and launch new products from scratch.

• Rapidly iterate on prototypes and features based on feedback and evolving product needs.

• Own technical decisions and help shape the architecture of new systems.

• Continuously improve our existing codebase, tooling, and development processes to increase team velocity.

• Maintain high engineering standards while balancing speed and scrappiness.

• Debug, optimize, and scale applications to support demanding real-world AI use cases.

• Play an active role in shaping Lakera’s technical vision and product roadmap.

About You

• Strong programming fundamentals in imperative or object-oriented languages (Python or Go preferred).

• 5+ years experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React) and languages like TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment—highly self-directed with a startup mindset.

• You move fast: a strong bias for action and ability to ship quickly without sacrificing long-term code quality.

• Excellent communicator who thrives on cross-functional collaboration.

• Confident working in undefined problem spaces, bringing clarity and creative solutions.

• Always learning: curious, adaptable, and motivated to push yourself and the product forward.
