Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team. While this is a remote position based out of Austin, United States, you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns
- Design and maintain regular reporting systems and dashboards
- Develop and implement data quality control procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively
- Optimize data collection procedures and implement best practices for data management
- Identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements
- Support strategic decision-making through ad-hoc analysis and recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management
- Expert-level experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau or Power BI
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with statistical analysis
- Programming experience in Python or R
- Demonstrated experience in data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation
- Experience with business intelligence tools and data warehousing concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills with ability to present complex data in a clear manner
- Experience working in a remote environment preferred
- Understanding of data analytics methodologies and best practices
- Knowledge of data governance and security practices
