This role will ideally sit in Seattle, WA although we are open to other geographical locations. Role Summary The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Church & Dwight portfolio of brands for pure play (Amazon, Chewy, Go Puff and others). This is our fastest growing channel. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all facets of the Amazon P&L, Chewy P&L, and others. As the Sales Director, you will serve as a general manager to the Pure Play business, working to optimize sales, maximize trade investment, increase profitability, drive supply chain & packaging initiatives; drive sustainable improvements to the P&L. You will work closely with the marketing teams in new product development & advertising to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and results are delivered as we continue to invest in Amazon Media business across search, display and linear TV, as well as investments across other pure players for all Church & Dwight brands. The candidate will possess superb analytic skills, digging deep into data to craft critical objectives, strategies, great negotiation skills, and tactics and then turning insight into action to drive results. Responsible for leading and developing a high performing team of ecommerce and growth marketing professionals and agency partners to achieve short and long-range strategic objectives through successful planning and execution of sales strategies at pure players. We are looking for an outstanding leader that can coach and develop a talented team, and that can continue to build and strengthen relationships with our customers at executive levels. Responsibilities: Constantly seek optimization and growth through performance analysis, with a test and learn mindset. Ensure teams are consistently providing post-program ROI analysis paired with consumer insights to make recommendations to increase sales and drive a premium brand experience. Re craft reporting and influencing by building process’ and coaching teams on negotiation Serve as an internal eCommerce/growth sales & marketing thought leader; helping to identify digital marketing trends, new technologies, evolving best practices, competitor activity and testing opportunities that will help drive the business forward. Review performance metrics, reports and develop action plans to ensure performance targets are met through the continuous improvement process. Partner closely with operations, finance, IT and other cross functional partners to deliver topline and bottom-line growth for C&D brands Build multi-year growth plans for pure players by category, brand while keeping sight of competition, retailer growth etc. Conduct business reviews to executive leadership team on progress against financial plan and strategic objectives. Develop strong retailer customer relationships across multiple functions, i.e., buying teams, supply chain teams, etc. and elevate ways of working Forge strong, highly collaborative relationships with the Church & Dwight International sales teams to foster the global Amazon Church & Dwight business. Develop Digital IQ, competencies, training and capabilities across C&D teams with respect to excelling in pure play environments. Educations and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required 8+ years’ experience in Sales (preferably for Pure Play accounts) 3+ years of Vendor Management experience 5+ years of experience in Amazon/ecommerce sales Superb analytic skills with ability to dig deep into data to craft critical objectives and strategies and turn insights into action to drive results Executive communication and negotiation skills with an ability to problem-solve, and deal with ambiguity Highly curious on all things digital marketing, eCommerce, and consumer experience Energy, enthusiasm, willingness and ability to raise the bar The US base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $250,000 + bonus + LTI + benefits.
