Our client specialises in placing a range of professionals into both Hedge Funds and Investment Banks across the UK and the US. They are a boutique agency made up of 22 heads in their London offices, with plans to expand and open a New York office in the near future, which they are wanting to sponsor people to go out and open. They have huge success in bringing in retained and exclusive work, meaning that their client relationships are unrivalled against other firms in their space. They work on average deal sizes of £34k, and you will earn up to 40% off this as your commission- which definitely ads up nicely! Company Values – Integrity, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration The Benefits – Trainee Recruitment Consultant • Starting salary of £28k, rising to £32k with your first promotion (takes between 10-14 months) • £500 bonus for your first 4 placements, then onto the commission structure rising to 40%, seeing you earn anywhere from £40k-£60k in your first year (based onprevious consultants!) • Ongoing mentorship from your team leader, with regular catch ups and training sessions, as well as access to the founder of the business with over 20 years’ experience • 2 days to work from home, as well as flexible hours when working the US markets • Regular team drinks at the local pubs and bars in Victoria, as well as socials to London hotspots and events such as Ascot • Chance to grow with the business, and build out new divisions if you see a gap in the market • Annual holiday incentive – previous trips have been to South Africa, Barcelona, and Portugal The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant • Working closely with your clients to understand them as a business and what they are looking for from future employees • Finding the right candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn, advertising, networking, and using existing databases • Scheduling interviews between client and candidate, then passing along feedback and handling any reservations • Building up your network through regular communication and research • Sharing market insights with clients and candidates, as well as salary benchmarking The Requirements – Trainee Recruitment Consultant • Confident getting on the phone and speaking with potential clients and candidates • Naturally competitive and wanting to be the best you can be • Financially motivated to earn more than just your salary • Ambitious and looking to progress quickly in your career • Background in sales is a huge bonus but not essential • Any European languages is also a huge plus as you’ll be working the European market (but also not essential!)
