Job description: Local Class A Truck Driver Are you a Professional Driver who hates sleeping in a cab? Are you serious about safety and looking for a company that is set up to do more than just talk about being safe? The Forward Group, Inc. is an Amazon Freight Partner looking for reliable team members who appreciate work/life balance, value safety above all else, and are tired of running 60-70 HRS per week. We aren't here to waste your time with promises we can't keep and we actually believe we are only as good as our team members! What you’ll do: We run 13 hour shifts and our deliveries are 90+% drop and hook and 100% No Touch Freight. Full Time is 3 days/week! Routes are roughly 350-450 miles round trip. We haul exclusively for Amazon in nice, branded equipment in a fleet that averages 80,000 miles. To be successful with our team you will place safety and compliance first with the help of the latest trucks and a full set of technology. Communication is everything, both for our drivers and our admins! What we’ll do: ? Have you home at the end of EVERY shift ? Guarantee to pay at least 40 HRS/WK, even if you have a shift cancelled!- $22/HR with OT after 40 HRS ? Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance ? Clean Motor Vehicle Record and a good DAC report ? An updated DOT Medical Card ? Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen ?
