Job title: Radiology&CatScan Technologist Company: Catholic Health Job description : Job Description: Radiology/CT Technologist Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center is a 537- bed (including 100 nursing home beds) teaching hospital and a member of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. With almost 900 physicians on staff, and a level II Trauma Center, we care for well over 100,000 patients annually across the south shore of Long Island. The Radiology/ CT Technologist is responsible for interpreting doctors' orders; immobilize, instruct and position patients. Responsibilities: Administer non-injectable contrast material Sets up and operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment Develops and review radiographs for quality and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Graduate of AMA approved radiology school Must be licensed in N.Y. State and be ARRT and CPR certified 3-5 years' experience as a staff technologist Knowledge of multi-discipline areas Must be experienced in radiological techniques, patient positioning, radiation protection, fluoroscopic and intravenous examinations, tomography and special examinations Must obtain a minimum of 24 Category A continuing education credits every 2 years Excellent communication skills required. BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only American Heart Association or American Red Cross No online programs from any organization will be accepted. The pay for this position ranges from $48.00 ? 60.00 per hour. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate?s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
