As a Dance Instructor, you will plan and lead dance classes, ensuring that people of all dance levels/school grade levels are able to participate. Your goal is to help dancers reach their fitness objectives and have fun while doing it The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for dance. Responsibilities Lead a wide variety of classes to After school programs Develop classes that are age level challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of dancing and help them make good decisions Promote programs, classes, and behavioral management Deliver exceptional quality dance classes Dance Genres preferred Folklorico Hip-hop Salsa Azteca Cumbia Jazz Qualifications High school diploma/GED required Current dancer or dance experience Knowledge of choreography, dance technique, and body mechanics is preferred First aid and CPR certified Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong background in teaching various styles of dance: Latin, Hiphop, Jazz Expected salary : $25 per hour Location : Pasadena, CA Apply Job!
