HireArt is helping an established AI company pioneering new approaches to data development find East Asian Languages & Cultures Subject Matter Experts in Korean Studies. In this role, you’ll support a research department by developing difficult, domain-specific questions that probe and illuminate the limitations of modern AI models. This is an exciting opportunity for people in the East Asian Languages & Cultures field to contribute to cutting-edge approaches to data development! • Bachelor's Degree, Graduate Degree, faculty, or professional expert in Korean Studies, Asian Studies, History, Cultural Studies, or other relevant discipline • An academic or professional focus in Korean Studies • Recent experience in the field as a • Professor/Lecturer/Instructor/Faculty Member • Graduate Assistant • Undergraduate or graduate level teaching assistant • Researcher • Editorial board member • Consultant, adviser, or professional in the field • Strong English grammar, writing, editing, and... proofreading skills • The ability to write clear, thorough yet succinct summaries • Attention to detail in reviewing and editing written materials • Ability to work asynchronously on tasks and occasionally meet live to discuss the tasks • A reliable computer and internet connection • A signed NDA and completed background check are required • Previous experience in Test Item Writing, Exam Development, Exam Scoring, or AI is a huge plus Commitment: This is a 4-12 week independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. This role will be remote and is ideal for candidates located in U.S. time zones and able to work between 8 and 40 hours per week. Workers will be able to set their own schedule.
