Job title: Online Learner Facilitator Company: Genesee Education Consultant Services Job description : The Bentley Community School District is a small-size school district east of Flint in Genesee County with approximately 270 9th through 12th grade students in the high school. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Supervise online student learners in the high school during the school day Communicate respectfully and honestly with students, staff, and families Committed to learning from own mistakes in order that tomorrow is better than today Work with administration to ensure that all students are held accountable for their learning and actively working to become the best version of themselves Maintain accurate records Manage classroom behaviors Address minor technical problems in the classroom Assist as needed with lunch room supervision Other duties as assigned by the building principal MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Hold a high school diploma and two years of related college work or related experience Use technology to create, analyze and manipulate data Work effectively with students, parents, employees, and others Exercise initiative and work independently Communicate effectively in writing, listening, and speaking Exhibit organization skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, creativity & a collaborative spirit Ability to maintain staff and student confidentially at all times REPORTS TO: Building Principal WORKDAY/WEEK: 30 hours per week STARTING DATE: Immediately COMPENSATION: $16.00 per hour APPLY: POSTING DEADLINE: Until Position is Filled The Bentley Board of Education is committed to a policy of non-discrimination in relation to race, color, sex, age, religion, height, weight, gender identity, marital status, disability and national origin.
