As a part of our team, you will be responsible for entering data into our digital systems from paper documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database. The Remote Data Input Clerk will work from home to ensure the smooth and successful operation of our company’s data systems. By maintaining our database up-to-date, you will help boost our productivity and efficiency, contributing to our company’s long-term success. Requirements: 1. Proven experience as data entry clerk 2. Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred 3. Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets 4. Strong English language skills – both written and verbal 5. Ability to work independently in a remote environment 6. Attention to detail with an ability to spot grammar, spelling and punctuation errors 7. High school degree or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated Responsibilities: 1. Transfer data from paper formats into our database system 2. Create and manage spreadsheets with large numbers of figures 3. Verify data by comparing it to source documents 4. Update existing data in our digital systems 5. Retrieve data as requested 6.
