About the position As an Associate Buyer for Adult Beverages at Target, you will play a crucial role in selecting and managing product assortments for both in-store and online platforms. This position involves executing advertising plans, analyzing market trends, and coordinating promotional activities. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure effective product development and financial planning, while also managing vendor communications to maximize sales and profitability. Responsibilities • Execute advertising plans and strategies for Adult Beverages. , • Select ad items, plan space allocation, and forecast pricing and ad volume. , • Monitor market trends and evaluate competitors. , • Plan product assortments and coordinate promotional activities. , • Assist Buyers with system input of item descriptions and markdown updates. , • Generate reports to analyze weekly and monthly category metrics. , • Support product development in partnership with design and sourcing teams. , • Manage communication with vendors to maximize sales and profit. Requirements • A four-year degree or equivalent experience. , • Strong financial, strategic, and planning skills. , • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical, decision-making, and organization skills. , • Performance-driven individual with superior leadership skills. , • Flexibility and resiliency in a changing environment. , • Comfortable taking risks and supporting creative changes. , • 1+ years of merchandising experience preferred.
