[Remote-Position] System Administrator (Remote)

Position Summary We are seeking a talented System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. System Administrator Responsibilities: • Install and configure software, hardware and services. • Manage cloud solutions, servers, and networks. • Implement and maintain security measures, including access control lists and firewalls. • Manage backup and recovery systems. • Monitor system performance and conduct necessary maintenance. • Plan and procure technical equipment and software subscriptions. • Provide expert guidance on system options, requirements, and cost benefit analyses. • Establish and maintain an internal documentation portal. • Plan and implement system enhancements. • Handle user onboarding and offboarding. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly. Skills and Qualifications: • Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role. • Strong knowledge of Windows (administrator level), and Linux (experienced user level). • Proficiency with virtualization, primarily Microsoft Hyper-V. • Expertise in Microsoft Office 365, Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Enterprise Applications Deployment. • Solid networking experience (firewalls, routing, VLANs, ACLs, VPN, Wireless APs, etc.). • Familiarity with Atlassian Stack (Jira Cloud / Confluence Cloud). • Experience with backup/recovery software tools or services. • Basic RDBMS administration and SQL skills. • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for task automation. • Strong English language skills (company's official language). • Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates. • BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus. Bonus Skills (optional, but would be a plus): • Experience with cloud providers (Azure, Digital Ocean). • Mikrotik expertise (firewall, VPN, mangle, site-to-site tunnels). • Basic DevOps skills (Git/SVN, Jenkins, Docker). • Familiarity with website management control panels (CloudFlare, cPanel). • Web application security knowledge.
