Job Overview We are in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable Python Instructor to facilitate dynamic virtual training sessions centered on Data Analysis. As an integral part of our initiative to advance digital engineering capabilities, this role focuses on empowering our workforce in the realm of data analytics using the Python programming environment. Key Responsibilities • Deliver immersive training courses aimed at equipping participants with vital programming skills, data manipulation techniques, and efficient handling of extensive datasets. • Direct employees through the process of managing tabular data, implementing aggregation and reorganization methods, addressing missing values, and executing time series analyses. • Ensure comprehensive instruction on accessing data from diverse sources and interfacing with databases. • Equip participants to harness Python’s potential for thorough data exploration, modeling, and analysis. • Conduct sessions for up to 20 employees, providing all necessary course materials at least five business days prior to training. • Provide virtual instruction to personnel at the Naval Surface Warfare Center located in West Bethesda, Maryland, over a minimum duration of four days. • After course completion, you will be tasked with submitting a participant roster to the organization. Required Skills • Proficiency in Python for data analysis. • Familiarity with data visualization libraries, including NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn. • Expertise in data manipulation techniques using Pandas. • Understanding of machine learning concepts with Scikit-learn. • Excellent communication skills with a focus on virtual teaching methodologies. Qualifications • Proven experience in teaching or delivering training sessions related to data analysis. • Ability to conduct virtual training sessions and adapt to diverse learning formats. • Relevant professional experience in data analysis and programming.
