Job Overview We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic ESL Teacher to provide personalized one-on-one instruction to a 3rd grade student who speaks Spanish. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement engaging English language lessons tailored specifically to the learning needs of a 3rd grade Spanish-speaking student. • Design lesson plans and assessments that align with the student's educational objectives and progress. • Monitor and evaluate the student’s development, making instructional adjustments as necessary to promote growth. • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to provide updates on the student's progress and learning goals. • Keep precise records of the student's attendance and academic achievements. • Collaborate with other educators and school staff to enhance the overall learning experience for the student. Required Skills • Ability to create engaging and effective English language lessons. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Experience in lesson planning and assessment development. • Proficiency in tracking and monitoring student progress. • Collaborative teamwork skills to work effectively with fellow educators. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline. • ESL certification or demonstrated experience with English language learners. • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is strongly preferred. • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is advantageous but not mandatory.
