Home Depot is hiring for Kitchen/Bath Sales Associate Kitchen/Bath Sales Associate play an essential role in upholding the three major priorities of a store - Customers First, In Stock, and Store Appearance. They are responsible for delivering swift, comprehensive, and welcoming service to shoppers, ensuring a satisfactory shopping encounter. Kitchen/Bath Sales Associate liaise with customers, evaluating their specific kitchen and/or bathroom project requirements, offering guided tours of showcase rooms, and offering purchase suggestions. They also guarantee that sample and brochure inventories are adequately stocked, and that special displays and showcasing areas are visually attractive and safe. These features can include anything from a product's size and shape to its color and extra accessories. • To successfully complete a project, it is important to first understand the project requirements. This includes identifying the project objectives, scope, timeline, and budget. • Aid consumers with customized requests and expert installations. • Perform measurements in the kitchen and/or bathroom and hold consultations with clients to go over room designs and suggest item purchases. • The special order displays and showrooms should create an attractive and secure shopping atmosphere. • Ensure that the levels of samples and brochures are always at the appropriate level and top up where required. Nature and Scope: • Dust and noise are common in the warehouse setting. • Heavy equipment movements inside the store can lead to the emergence of temporary floor cracks. • Often, doors are left ajar, which results in air currents and fluctuations in room temperature. • Wet weather can make the floors near the work area very slippery. • The job may involve handling commodities and manipulating sharp implements. • Emissions of gas fumes are produced by forklifts in operation. • The presence of unsafe components might be detected in tools, equipment, and other items that are sold alongside them. Environmental Job Requirements: • Environment: Comfortable surroundings are generally expected, although there may be intermittent exposure to elements that can cause mild physical discomfort. These irritants might include things like dust, fumes, or unpleasant smells. • Travel: The nature of the job demands infrequent overnight travel, generally less than 10% of the time.
