This 1099 contract position offers the flexibility of working from home while providing virtual speech therapy services to students across New York. We're looking for a dedicated professional to start immediately. Key Responsibilities: • Provide virtual speech therapy services for students with communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice issues. • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and school staff. • Conduct regular assessments, track student progress, and modify therapy plans as needed. • Maintain ongoing communication with parents, school administrators, and other professionals to ensure the success of therapy interventions. • Create engaging and effective therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs in a virtual environment. Qualifications: • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in New York. • Proven experience working with children and students with various speech and language disorders. • Comfort and experience with virtual therapy platforms and online tools. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting. • Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans for optimal student progress.
