Job Overview Join our innovative educational institution as a Healthcare Instructor, where you will make a significant impact on students’ lives by guiding them in their academic and professional journeys. This remote, work-from-home opportunity is available to candidates residing in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging online instruction for assigned courses within our healthcare program. • Facilitate bi-weekly interactive sessions via Zoom to foster student participation. • Maintain a flexible availability for office hours and personalized student meetings to enhance learning experiences. • Provide constructive feedback on students’ academic achievements, including quizzes, tests, homework, and projects. • Proactively engage with at-risk students to boost involvement and offer support. • Keep precise records of student attendance and performance, ensuring compliance with institutional grading standards. • Contribute to faculty meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities. • Stay informed about current trends in healthcare education. • Undertake additional responsibilities as dictated by the faculty role and institutional guidelines. Required Skills • Proven experience in Health Information Management (HIM) is essential. • Proficiency with virtual teaching tools and various software applications, including Microsoft Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, and Zoom. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students during live sessions. Qualifications • A Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Medical Science, or a related discipline is required. • A minimum of three years of experience in Health Information Management (HIM) is necessary. • Preferred qualifications include: • RHIT or RHIA certification. • CPC or CCS credentials. • Prior experience in online instruction.
